Thinking Aloud One of the strategies that I use to help children learn is to think aloud. This is a process where you get a little hokey and actually talk out loud to yourself so others can hear you. By bringing my thinking out of my head I am modeling how I go about deciding what I am going to do. The more children can see and hear examples of how we think the more they will think on their own. Give it a try and see if your child connects to your thinking. |
